Temple Town

The Minion and I finished a few hours early with our client yesterday and they pretty much forced us to spend the rest of the afternoon sight seeing rather than working. So that’s what we did. Because we were right across the street (not that anything is particularly far away in this city) we decided to check out Temple Square first.

Even if you aren’t into religion or history the architecture of these buildings is truly incredible and with the late afternoon sun shining on the sandstone they were true pieces of art.

We weren’t allowed in the Temple itself but we explored the Tabernacle and learned that the Choir rehearsed every Thursday and that we could go. For free! So that’s our plan.
